Father’s Day contest with a cool prize!

Author Robert Wilder put out a call on Maya’s Mom-help him spread the word about his new book “Daddy Needs a Drink”. Well, with a title like that, you don’t have to twist my arm! The book is a collection of essays that have been called “shockingly foul” and also “wickedly observant”. To celebrate the release of the paperback, Rob is having a “Daddy Needs Your Stories” Father’s Day Contest.

You don’t even have to be a Daddy to enter! Just write a 500 word essay on the subject “My Favorite Father’s Day Story” and email it to Rob by June 1st 2007. Winners will have their work posted on Rob’s website and receive a signed copy of “Daddy Needs a Drink”. He wants stories that are funny, touching, outrageous-you know, stories about REAL Father’s Days.
