I think this website is a great idea-list the clothes you have to sell, and the price to buy them outright. No auction, no bidding, just a great way to clean out your closet!
PersonalCloset was started by Eric R. McNack as a way to encourage her wife to sell the clothes she had bought but never even wore. The site has free registration, no listing fees, and no commission fees. Simply upload a description, photo and price for your item, and let your buyers come to you! You won’t have to worry about some crazed eBayer outbidding you by fifty cents during the last millisecond of an auction, which seems to happen to me EVERY time I try to buy something from them. I think Eric is really onto something, so when I came across his site on BlogCatalog, I offered to help promote it. Visit the site, browse around, list your clothes or buy someone else’s, with no bidding and no fees!

Matthew, it’s as easy as it sounds! I’m not sure how the shipping works though, I assume you work that out with the seller.

Omar, I know, isn’t it great to give people an alternative to the whole bidding thing? If you know how much you want to sell something for, why make people bid?
This is a good idea! I loved the What was I thinking section!… I, too, am not a big fan of Ebay. I don’t like the constant bidding, so I rarely buy there.
