I’m having my first-ever contest here on MomReviews, and the winner gets a copy of the terrific new book “Late Night Talking” by Leslie Schnur. Jeannie Sterling is a late night talk show host who is determined to resurrect the long-lost art of civil behavior. Each night on her show, she vents about people who won’t pick up their dog’s poop, treadmill hogs at the gym, people who litter.
But then her perfectly controlled life is turned upside down when her long-absent father suddenly shows up at her doorstep, and her college crush decides he’s in love with her. From the press release:

I can’t wait to read it! And the publisher was nice enough to include a second copy for me to give away to my readers, and so I decided to do a photo contest. Since the book is about bad behavior, I’ll give you a hint: what you see in this photo is the result of someone’s bad behavior. What I want to know is, what do you think it is? Okay, technically it’s from a kitchen drawer, but it’s close enough. Kaitlyn has this one drawer that she loves to open and shut, and one day she slammed it shut really hard and the front piece came flying right off. See?

I know this is over but the first thing I thougt of was a sucked on smartie and then gently smooshed. Then I remembered your US and you don’t have smarties. Smarties are candy covered chocolate, something like M&Ms with a bit harder shell and rounder/flatter. They are coloured primary colours and you can suck on them (candy outer shell) til they are white, lol.
