The main character is Jeannie Sterling, the late-night radio host of a call-in show called Sterling Behavior. Jeannie uses her radio show to rant about the abominable manners and behavior of her fellow citizens of New York. She hates people who litter, people who talk at the movies, indifferent sales clerks-everyone is fair game. Jeannie believes she is making the world a better place, one rude person at a time. Her life is going just he way she thought she wanted until three different men become part of her life in ways she never expected.

I liked this book and especially Jeannie. Too many people are afraid to take a stand about anything these days, and with Jeannie’s character, Leslie Schnur is making a not-so-subtle statement about why it is important NOT to let our society go to hell in a handbasket. If everyone just did whatever they wanted and ignored common decency and manners, where would we be? However, as Jeannie learns in the book, there are ways to go about encouraging people to change without making things worse.

You can find Late Night Talking by clicking this link to buy the book from Amazon.com. I have an Amazon Associates account but I don’t know if the book will show up in the link or not. It’s a fun book to read and I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as I did. Oh, and don’t forget to visit MotherTalk to read other reviews of the book as well as other books on the Blog Book Tour.
