Today, this blog is 90 days old! Hooray! You know what that means, right? I’m approved to start writing for PayPerPost here! Since I only get products to review once in a while, it will be nice to be able to fill in with PPP opps too. Plus, money! Always good to be making money! lol
In honor of this illustrious occasion, I am running the easiest contest ever. All you have to do is tell me which of my product reviews is your favorite, and why. I’m looking for details, here. Look through my archives and take a few minutes to read through the posts. Find a review of a product you like, and tell me what you liked about my review. The more specific, the better. I will then put all the names in a hat and draw one out to win a prize!
The winner gets a brand new CD of The Police-Every Breath You Take: The Classics, which is fourteen of the best Police songs ever. It is still in the shrink wrap although there is a small piece torn off at the top due to grabby baby hands trying to take it away from me. You must provide me with your first and last name and mailing address if you win. (Don’t leave that in your comment!)

Oh, and hey, why don’t you have a piece of this cake? It’s really good. (I didn’t make it, I swiped the image from Google)

I liked the book reviews! All of them because I’m doing my first book review now and they’ve been a great help to me!
I also liked the HP Touchsmart review because that is WAY COOL! I’m so jealous! Too bad you had to give it back!!!
My favorite was your review of the HP Touchsmart IQ770 PC. I got a kick out of you mentioning trying to figure out the wireless mouse! I also liked how personal and informational you made the post, from playing around with views of your blog to your daughter drawing on a “sticky note”. The Sticky Note and SmartCalendar programs sounded so cool, it made me want one!
Mimi- Great, thanks! I’ll enter you in the drawing!
Sheila- That Sticky Note thing was WAY cool.Glad you liked the post, I’ll enter you in the drawing!
Ya know…I’m gonna have to go with the One Sheet Challenge post. I love the talking paper towel! lol!! I liked that you used several photos to show how the paper towel had “behaved”. Nice job!
Now..I want to know how I can get paper towels to try out!
Jenny-Thanks! I had a lot of fun writing that post. You are entered in the drawing!
You know how I got started doing product reviews? I wrote a post titled “I love Swiffer, yes I do”, just for fun. It caught the eye of a P.R. firm that was doing marketing for Swiffer, and they emailed me asking if they could send me a new Swiffer sweeper in exchange for my writing up my honest opinion. So, I always recommend to people that they write posts with the names of products they like in the title, link to the product’s main site in the post, and hopefully that will catch someone’s attention!
Wait, I think I’m at the wrong site… I thought this was a site where we reviewed our moms?
Randy- *snort* HA! It does sound like I do reviews OF Moms, doesn’t it?
Happy blog milestone!
Happy Birthday, MomReviews! Just old enough to go to PPP. Fantastic!! Grats!
Thanks Jaz! My blog is approved for PPP, but it still shows that I haven’t installed the tools code, even though I HAVE, so I don’t know what else to do!
Thank you, Mom Reviews! Did you read the comment from Randy saying he thought this was a blog with reviews OF Moms? LOL! I changed my tagline to read “Reviews of PRODUCTS. Not reviews of MOMS!” HAHA!
My favorite post of yours was the one on Ortho-Evra. I am postpartum, and looking for birth control options. I was seriously considering the patch, as I am forgetful and too busy to think of myself…just like all moms. I thought the patch would solve that problem. I won’t be thinking like that after reading your post. Thanks!
Good luck with PPP! You’re in the money now (a little anyway). Good for you. I think most blogs fade before they get to the 90 day mark.
Congratulations. Good job.
My second blog is 5 days aways from the 90 days mark. I already have it approved for the direct opts, I hope it is approved for the marketplace as well.
Laura- Thanks! This blog is approved for PPP Direct as well, but for some reason, not for the marketplace. I know it has no PR, but the Alexa is really low. I’ve sent in a support ticket and I’m just waiting for help.
Pam- I’m SO GLAD you read my post first before going on Ortho Evra. That is some scary stuff.
