Edited to add: Great news! aToyGarden.com has created a special Coupon Code just for MomReviews readers! The Coupon code is “momreviews” (to be entered in the coupon section toward the end of the order process), and you will get 10% off for orders over $35. And, it’s Good through August 24th, 2007. Woo-hoo!

Everything! Would you LOOK at this site, aToyGarden.com, and at the beautiful and reasonably priced toys they sell?

Like this, the On the Go Bag? Look at everything that comes in it, and it only costs $19.95!!

The weekend of August 18th, we are driving down to Toledo to visit my SIL and her family, which means two and a half hours in the car each way- I MUST have this toy for Kaitlyn!

Or maybe these precious little dollies, called Organic Sweeties!

Maybe this van with a sunroof and trunk that opens, perfect for a bendy doll family:

And, of course, the Bendy Doll family:

I am in AWE of how beautifully crafted everything is on this site, how each item is meant to encourage creativity and imagination, and how reasonable the prices are! I am so tired of plastic toys that take batteries, and practically play themselves for my children. I want them to use their brains, to make up games, and stories, and to think when they play. I am going to do my best to acquire all of the items I linked to in this post, and probably more. It’s not too late for Kaitlyn to learn that toys don’t have to be plastic, or take batteries, to be special.

They are cute! Its a good idea to support these types of companies that are making things from organic materials and, like you said, do not need batteries to run.

Here for C&C Monday.

What a fabulous site! I’ve always flocked to sites like this when my kids were younger. I could never find exactly what I was looking for though, and started making my own (I’ve made plenty of dyed play silks and even knitted food over the years)
I absolutely love that felted sushi set though.

I COVET the playstands with an arch. I’ve always wanted one for my kids… ALWAYS.
