Good lighting equals good mood

by Elizabeth on September 9, 2007

With winter just a few short months away, I’m trying to convince my husband that we need to improve our home lighting situation. Our living room is always too dark for my tastes. Because I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, it’s important for me to get as much natural light as possible. Every year, I think about buying the lamps that simulate daylight, but I never get around to doing it. I wish I could just have a big one on my ceiling so it looks like I’m outside even when I’m inside!

Its worth telling your husband about energy efficient lighting, for both your pockets and the environment, when shopping for lightig. There are now lights available that save up to 80% electricity so they are definately worth considering for your lighting.

Changing your lighting can give you a whole new feel to your home.
