We have a grocery store chain here in Michigan called Meijer; if you are familiar with Super Wal-Mart, it’s like that. One side is grocery, then the rest of the store is clothing, housewares, health and beauty, pharmacy, electronics, books, toys, and everything else. I was needing to have some t-shirts made for us to wear when we walk in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk on Sunday, so I was happy to see that Meijer also has a new store space at the front for a shop called Personalize This and That.
They can personalize t-shirts with any graphic you bring in, any text you want, with your choice of different colors, fonts, and font styles. They also can personalize tiny baby bathrobes and caps (so cute!), dish towels, golf towels, totebags, baby blankets, and probably more that just isn’t on display. I was looking at personalized cups and thinking that some coffee mugs with my blog logos on them would be really cool to have! Because I am a huge dork

i’m a fan for customizable stuff too! It’s attractive and makes you feel a little more special coz the design you’ve bought is not owned by a thousand others.
Not many customization booth around my side. So far I have my own customized cup with my own pic long time ago. I just keep it on somewhere
Oh, I love Meijer! It’s nothing like Wal-mart…. it’s WAY cooler! I wish we had Meijer down here!
I’m a sucker for customizable stuff. There aren’t many around here, but i’m willing to spend much more just to have my name printed on or just to have the colour of my choice on something i would like to buy.
Cory- I agree! And now that I’ve seen the work this lady does, I want to get all kinds of shirts made with my own sayings on them.
Domdat-Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Mimi-It seems like every year, Meijer gets more and more stuff! The one here in Lansing has a HUGE Electronics department, like the size of Best Buy’s, no kidding! And now there’s this personalized items store, there’s a Credit Union Service Center, it’s really a One-Stop store!
Countdown-I was really surprised at how high-tech the store was, she had a computer and a program called PrintMaster, so she could choose fonts, font styles, colors, and then just print it out and make the transfer to the shirt right there on the spot. It was very cool!
