Until I learned about The Tequila Guy, I had no idea that people take tequila drinking so seriously. This is not the cheap tequila you order in a bar we’re talking about, this is 100% Agave tequila, made to be sipped and enjoyed like a fine liqueur. The Tequila Guy created a website just for the purpose of promoting 100% agave tequilas and “educate, entertain and enlighten those interested in them”. His website has lists of tequila brands, the locations of restaurants that serve tequilas (I had no idea that there were tequila restaurants), recipes for tequila drinks (mmm, long island iced tea), a news page with all kinds of news stories that mention tequila, and Tequila Chat. These people are serious about tequila! Look for one of the 60 new 100% Agave tequilas that have come out in the last 12 months at a liquor establishment near you. But as The Tequila Guy mentions in numerous places on the site, please drink tequila and all other beverages responsibly.
