Look what I’ve got! It’s the Comment Luv plugin, my dears. Every time you leave a comment on a post, it will show a link to your latest blog post. You are highly likely to get a click-through from me, especially with a catchy post title, and you could also get more hits from my readers too!
BUT, and I say again, BUT, I am putting my foot down here about spammy comments. If you leave a comment with the name “Make Money Online”, and your email address is makemoneyonline AT gmail DOT com, and your URL is www.makemoneyonline DOT com? And the link to your last post is for a post titled “Make Money Online”? DUDE. You are SO getting deleted!
There does not seem to be a spam filter in the world that can keep those kinds of comments out. I understand that product review blogs get a different kind of traffic than parenting blogs, and I understand that I will get readers coming from websites as opposed to personal blogs. But this is not a billboard to advertise other people’s sites! If someone wants to advertise their website here, I have advertising available! Buy a text link ad, slap your “Make Money Online” text there, and live here in perpetuity.
