We have a sideboard in our dining room that belonged to my husband’s grandmother. We’ve had it since 1997, and now I can’t imagine not having one. Both our former house and our current one are ranch-style, with one large room that is both the living room and the dining room. Our sideboard defines that side of the room as the dining area.
