Share your stuff on Zwaggle

by Elizabeth on March 14, 2008

What is Zwaggle? I had never heard of it until this week’s Parent Bloggers Network Blog Blast. Zwaggle is an online community where you can list the things you have and trade them for things you want. There’s no bidding, you accumulate points (which are called “zoints”) and use those for making trades. You get 50 zoints just for signing up, and more for listing your items. The only thing you pay for is shipping.

You may have noticed that frugality and simplifying is becoming more and more popular. People are looking for ways to purge their overflowing closets, attics and basements, and if there’s one thing we don’t need in this country, it’s more trash in our landfills. Besides, if you have items that are still usable, chances are someone else could use them. If you have outgrown baby clothes, crib bedding, books, toys, DVDs, even maternity clothes, you can easily list them on Zwaggle for someone else to “buy” from you.

Want to learn more? Use this link–http://www.zwaggle.com/request-invitation.php?code=ZPBN. Everyone who signs up for Zwaggle with this invitation link will get extra zoints to use for their first transaction.

Write a post on your blog by midnight PST on Friday, March 14, and you will be entered in a Parent Bloggers Network drawing to win one of four gift cards-two $50 cards for giggle and two $50 cards for Patagonia.

Have fun using Zwaggle, and do your part to simplify, share, and save!

Wow, sweet idea! I’ve seen these kinds of sites for specific things (video games, DVDs, etc) but never a general-purpose one before. It’s a really great idea and I hope it succeeds. I’m going to sign up and check it out.
