I’ve had a Twitter account for I guess a few months now, but in the last few days, I’ve been Twittering heavily.
Not familiar with Twitter? It’s like instant messaging with as few or as many people as you want, except you can only post 140 characters at a time. Brevity, humor, and cleverness are good assets to have for a Twitterer.
I’m still working on two out of three of those.
The way that you read what people are posting is by clicking a button marked “Follow” under their profile photo. So, for example, if you want to Follow what I post on Twitter, go to http://twitter.com/Table4Five and click the Follow button (after you set up your account).
Unlike commenting on blog posts, Twitter lets you make short, instant connections with people in real time. I find that people who NEVER comment on my blogs are very friendly on Twitter-makes me feel better some days
So come on, do what all the “cool” bloggers (like me, HAHAHAHAHA) are doing and come join Twitter!

One of these days I may do the Twitter thing, but for now I will keep with comments and my different instant messengers.
Happy Twittering

I so don’t understand twitter! I have an account but don’t know how to use it!

Angel-I find it harder that everyone I want to chat with uses a different IM system, I think that’s what is great about Twitter, it’s like a universal IM!
Mimi-Log in to your account, and then in the box that says “what are you doing?”, type something and click “update”! I’d be happy to help you get started
I’ve been teaching myself a lot about Twitter – it’s a great resource. I recently downloaded Twhirl so I don’t have to keep refreshing my Twitter window to see what’s been shared.
Enjoy,
Barbara

Barbara-I didn’t know about Twirl, I’ve just been refreshing the page, so thanks for the info! And now I’m off to read your Twitter RANT post
