“C” is for the Cupcakes that we’re baking,
“U” is for the you and me and Us
“P” is for the Pleasure that we’re making,
“C” is for the Chocolate without fuss.
“A” is for the Adding of the sugar,
“K” is for the Kiss upon my cheek,
“E” is for the Eating when we’re finished.
Put it all together it spells CUPCAKE, a treat that we deserve to end our week!

In this generation of zero transfats, sushi, and lunchables, have cupcakes become cliched?
Gus-Actually, no! I think the recent re-discovery of cupcakes is in part due to the fact that they represent a time when snacks and desserts were more wholesome. Cupcake batter is simple to make, and it’s a perfectly portioned treat. There are whole blogs devoted just to cupcakes!
