It’s new, it’s hot, it’s kirtsy! What is it? Well, you used to know it as sk*rt, but due to a legal challenge over naming rights, rather than spend time and money on lawsuits, the fab ladies behind the site just put on their big girl panties and came up with a few new name ideas, then asked former sk*rt readers to vote. I voted for kirtsy, personally, because to me, it conjures up the image of someone who is polite and well-mannered, and that’s a good thing! So, what IS kirtsy?
- kirtsy is the place to find and/or link to anything and everything on the Web that you’d like to share.
- kirtsy users read what you submit and if they like it, they click on it. The more clicks your story gets, the more likely it is to end up right on the front page where everyone sees it and clicks through to read your blog, thus sending you traffic and good kirtsy karma!
- kirtsy is for sharing anything that YOU think is kirtsy-worthy, whether it be a personal story, a news item, celebrity gossip, a great fashion find, a recipe, whatever you think others will be interested in reading.
- In order to get your content onto kirtsy, you’ll want to add a lovely kirtsy button to your posts, which you can find by visiting the add kirtsy to your site! page. If you were a previous sk*rt user, you DEFINITELY want to replace any buttons or badges with the nifty new ones.
