I am so excited about this giveaway! My daughter isn’t quite old enough for the Fancy Nancy books, but she saw the dolls and accessories at Target and practically knocked me over to get to them. So imagine my surprise when I got an email from Janis at Jakks Pacific asking if I would like to review and giveaway something from their exclusive Fancy Nancy line of dolls, dress up clothes, and accessories! When the box arrived, Kaitlyn and I sat on my bed and took a close look at Fancy Nancy, and let me tell you, she is FANCY!
From her purple-streaked hair tied with ribbons and heart-shaped hair clips that come off to be worn by the lucky girl, to her strand of beads, spotted leotard, ruffled poodle skirt, socks with tiny hearts and shoes with pompoms, this Fancy Nancy doll is sure to be a delightful gift for any little girl. The age recommendation is 4-7, but Kaitlyn is 2.5 and I make sure she is very careful with the doll. These photos will show you just how special this doll is:

Fancy Nancy would proudly be given to our daughter Helana, I’ve been waiting for a “quality” doll to come out for her generation and Jakks has finally made our dreams come true! I know there are the American Girl dolls but they are a bit pricey, LOL.. and we love the fact that she has a line of books, cause we love reading!

Our Grandaughters’ (Bethany (4) and Delaney (2 1/2)favorite Aunt “Nancy” is a true “Fancy Nancy”. They have the “Fancy Nancy” book and love to dress up in all the sparkles and bows they can find. They would love to have the doll. Of course, Nancy, herself would be quite jealous.

I have 4 sons, my husband has 2 sons, and 3 stepsons and one stepdaughter from a previous marriage, who call me mom and him dad. We’re starting to get lots of grandchildren. Ooohh – you are so lucky to have seen these toys! My Target does not have them yet but 5 yr old DD has ogled them on the Internet. Grace LOVES all the Fancy Nancy books and so do I – they have sparked her interest in broadening her vocabulary to include “fancy” words that Nancy uses, like saying fuschia instead of purple. The mom and dad are so down to earth and real looking. I love that they have captured all these little girls’ hearts and are now offering more books and toys! Would love to win this for DD Grace! This doll would be for my fancy little daughter. She adores accessories, anything sparkly, shimmery, shiny and chic. She loves pink and purple and getting dressed up, and she absolutely loves the Fancy Nancy books. I am just like Nancy’s mom – a rather drab and dull plain jane, although luckily my daughter hasn’t tried to change me. I’m sure if I gave her this doll to dress up and decorate, I’d be in the clear for even longer.

How cool a Fancy Nancy doll. As I was looking for Fancy Nancy items for my own Fancy Nancy who is turning 3 in August I stumbled upon this blog. I am new to all this and filling this out is very foreign to me. I can tell you I live with a Fancy Nancy AKA Sara. She is dressed in skirts and twirls around the house and school all day long. She is a happy spirit like the one and only Fancy Nancy. Her room has butterflies all over it and she believes she is Fancy Nancy. I just ordered Fancy Nancy Plates and invitations for her party and was looking for the last item and you described it so well that I think Sara would love it. After all every night before she goes to bed she says mom I love you because there is not a fancier word then that!! Thanks for the opportunity to make my Fancy Sara smile even more. I know she would carry this with her everywhere and love it to bits!!

My sons (ages 2 and 6) call their grandmother “Fancy”. Her name is Nancy, but from the time they were babies they have always called her Fancy. They think all grandmothers are named Fancy Nancy…not just theirs. They read the Fancy nancy books together all the time and this doll would be a great addition to their reading time.

My 4 1/2 year old is the real “fancy Nancy”- the dog next door has been described as “sinister” and “viscous” (it is neither really she just likes the words. I found the Fancy Nancy books and knew that Olivia was moonlighting as the star of a book-what a horror that she is able to do that right under my nose. I saw the doll at Target, but I was shopping with Olivia; not a really great time to buy a “surprise” present, and when I came back they were all gone. I am hoping that they get new shipments in before Christmas, but I am sure by January they will have plenty.- However, if I won this one I would probably give it to her early, because I am a “weak” mother, and get way to excited for cute dolls. She’ll get the books for Christmas or her birthday.

If I won, I would like to go to a children’s hospital which is located in the inner city- not too far from my home. I would take my teenage daughter who has issues with being selfish. I would get her to inquire about a little girl who is lower income, doesn’t have much family, and has a life threatening illness. I would get my daughter to visit with the little girl and give her this doll. Hopefully, this would help her understand how fortunate she really is and bring a little comfort to a suffering child.
