If you have children and you’ve never been to a Build A Bear Workshop, it’s a pilgrimage you must make. Because it is an experience like none other. Everything about BABW screams FUN and YOU WANT THIS and BUY US NOW to kids of all ages! We don’t have BABW here in Lansing, so I was thrilled when I got the email asking if I would do this giveaway, because I also got this for Kaitlyn:
THAT, my friends, is the new Tropical Hello Kitty from Sanrio, exclusively available at Build-A-Bear Workshop! She has a toasty golden glow to her fur from her time spent in the tropics (although it doesn’t send a good message about sunscreen use, but I’m willing to overlook that because she is just so darn cute). She has a pretty silk flower tucked behind her ear, a sleeveless pink and orange souvenir t-shirt from her trip to Hawaii, and a ruffled denim mini. She’s also soft and huggable!
There’s a whole line of different outfits available for Tropical Hello Kitty, which you can see here. Since mine didn’t come with the silver purse and sandals shown there, I assume those are accessories I can purchase separately. But look at all the fun choices! Now, if Hello Kitty isn’t your thing, don’t worry-the winner of this giveaway can use their $25 gift card towards the purchase of anything at Build-A-Bear, including Bears, Dogs, Bunnies, Kitties, and World Wildlife Fund Friends. I took my 3 1/2 year old to a Build A Bear for the first time last weekend. I thought he would enjoy seeing the animals being put together, but he started going around picking out clothes for his (non-existent) animal! It made me feel bad but I wasn’t prepared to shell out the bucks that day. I’d love to take him back to pick out an outfit for a monkey we already have at home. He was eyeing the Spiderman and Batman pj’s!

My 5 yr old DD has visited a Build A Bear but never made a bear….I think she is a little clueless about the purpose of the store as the one nearest us is very quiet and we have never even seen another child making a bear! We did “wash” our stuffed daisy in the “tub” at BABW thanks to the kind staff – and they gave us a sticker! Would love to go make her 1st bear if we win!

We throughly enjoyed Build A Bear Workshop. My daughter has so much fun looking around at all of the outfits and accessories. This would be a GREAT surprise for her.

Hi, please enter us in your drawing. Sara and I want to tell you that we will be using the gift certificate to make a dog or a cat for Sara’s Daddy(my husband) who is stationed in California, and we are stuck in North Carolina. Sara wants daddy to have a cat or a dog to replace the real ones he left behind when he moved there.

BaBW is very loved in our house. Though my son is 9 years old he has to have his ‘friends’ with him every night, packs them when spending the night away from home.
