What my husband did while I was in Cincinnati
Written by Elizabeth on August 17, 2008 – 9:07 pm -Every time I go to a conference or event, my husband makes me something as a surprise when I get back. And by “something”, I mean a piece of furniture. Last year, while I was at BlogHer, he made me a wall-mounted spice rack. This past month he started a project while I was at BlogHer by taking the measurements and doing the planning, and then while I was in Cincinnati at the Pampers event, he made this:

A floor-to-ceiling bookshelf! I could not believe it! Some of the shelves are even adjustable. And he’s planning a wider one for our living room that he’s making next weekend. Am I lucky or what??

Thanks! Except for the big gap in the back, because he started the strips of wood on each side and didn’t have a small enough strip for the middle
He says he knows how to fix that when he makes the one for the living room lol.

I think the gap looks fine. Anyway, it’ll be covered with books eventually!
