Treat serious diaper rash with Vusion ointment

by Elizabeth on August 31, 2008

vusion ointmentMy daughter was born with diaper rash. She had red, raw patches on each of her little bum cheeks, and when our pediatrician came to the hospital to examine her, he gave Chris a prescription to fill for a cream made from an antibiotic, hydrocortisone, Desitin, and petroleum jelly. We had to use for about a month before her skin finally healed, and it was so hard on us, knowing how painful it must have been for her. That was in November 2005, and shortly after that, an ointment called Vusion came out. You still have to get a prescription for it, and the ingredients are miconozale nitrate (an antifungal agent), zinc oxide, and petroleum jelly.

Vusion is only for a diagnosis of diaper rash with yeast infection, so if your doctor has diagnosed your baby with that, you can ask about getting a prescription for Vusion. Features include:

* Effective, steroid-free formula, which means no risk of steroid-related side effects
* Clinically tested on babies 4 weeks of age and older
* Only product that’s FDA-approved for diaper rash with yeast infection

Even with Vusion ointment, you will still have to change your baby’s diaper very frequently, because even a small amount of wetness can irritate the rash. We had to change Kaitlyn about every two hours round the clock for the first few weeks, but it was worth it to see her skin start healing. We weren’t using Vusion because her rash was not complicated by a yeast infection fortunately. But I can tell you for sure that if it doesn’t look like ordinary diaper rash, get your baby to the doctor right away and get it checked out, because serious diaper rash needs to get treated immediately.

My baby has not had rashes till now and I am expecting it now.

I read more about Vusion in other websites and I think that it is a good but.

Its just that I am paranoid when it comes to getting something for my angel.

I think that rashes is something we cannot avoid. My infant had yeast infected rashes and I remember using Vusion then.

What drew me to Vusion was the fact that it was Steroid free and that it was approved by the FDA.

Vusion is very reliable and this post comes in good light, there have been many cases of babies suffering from problems due to the use of a wrong ointment.

Hmmm…
My 3 month old baby girl has bad diaper rash. The doctor said it was a case of fungal infection. He dint mention anything about yeast. Do you think Vusion will work?

I’d heard about vusion before. I never imagined that it would safe for usage on even 4 week old babies.
