Pop ‘N Swap with Polly Pocket

polly pocket pop n swap
The official name of this toy is Polly Pocket – Pop ‘N Swap Fashion Frenzy Superset, and it’s a fun way for kids to mix and match clothes without changing their own clothes half a dozen times a day. I guess I’m super lucky, because so far my daughter hasn’t insisted on wearing anything in particular or demanded to change her outfit. She will request certain shirts sometimes, but I don’t find her wearing mismatched clothes or bathing suits in the winter. She has occasionally surprised me though, like when she came out of her room wearing just pants and sunglasses and nothing else.

Each Polly Pocket Pop ‘N Swap kit comes with two doll heads and lots of clothes and accessories, plus stands to hold up the dolls so they can “model” their fashions. Your little fashionista can mix and match florals and polka dots to their heart’s content. And maybe then they won’t mind when you make them go back in their room and change out of the completely mismatched outfit they picked to wear to school.

Want to participate in this Parent Bloggers Network Blog Blast? Here’s how to participate:

Write a post on your blog telling us about those mismatched outfits that were creative at best, crazy at worst, and how you help your kids express themselves in positive ways. Post anytime this week – Monday, September 22 to Thursday, September 25 and include links to http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3136638 and http://blog.parentbloggers.com.

Send your blog post link to parentbloggers@gmail.com, they’ll do a round up of all the posts on the PBN site on Thursday, September 25.

You can also visit MomLogic and enter to win a full set of the 2008 Polly Pocket line by sending them a photo of your child in their wackiest outfit! There’s also a Polly Pocket photo group on Flickr that you can add your photo to.

What can you win?

Two randomly chosen bloggers will each win a $250 VISA gift card, plus a Polly Pocket Pop ‘n Swap Fashion Frenzy set.

Special bonus: The first 20 bloggers to send in their post links will each receive a Polly Pocket Pop ‘n Swap Fashion Frenzy set!

Oh, those look so cute. Easier for younger kids to do than actually taking the clothes on and off. I usually end up doing it myself.

I can just imagine all the little parts you’d find all over the house! However, it does seem like a faster, easier way to play with Polly Pocket.

My daughter is a really big polly fan. She has just gotten into it these past few months. Even though this seems like a good idea, because it seems I am dressing the polly pockets more than her, she refuses to play with them. She says they are broken and she don’t want to play with them.LOL..
