Sesame Street K’Nex
For this month’s Team Mom product review, we received one of the new K’Nex Sesame Street building kits. The kits can build Elmo, Ernie, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch, we got Oscar. Each kit comes with a reusable storage container, a sticker sheet, and an educational “Play and Learn” activity sheet.
Oscar was easy for Kaitlyn to build, except for the legs which kept popping off because she wasn’t pushing the pieces together firmly enough, so I helped with that. Oscar can stand up easiest inside his trash can, we figured out. In one of his hands he holds his friend Slimey the Worm, who Kaitlyn calls “Squirmy Wormy”. Here she is first thing in the morning, still in her nightgown, playing with the pieces at the kitchen table:

The four sets I mentioned retail for $10.99, and then there are two larger sets for $14.99 that make Grover with his superhero helmet and cape, and one that makes Abby Cadabby with a pumpkin and a wand. These would make great gifts for children ages 2 and up!
