People, that song could have been written about me. My boys are almost 12 and almost 10 now, and to put it plainly, they have morphed from sweet smelling toddlers to stinky BOYS. Omg, why did I not know just how stinky boys are? I’ve even got both of them using deodorant now, but it’s their feet. They just…smell like…boy feet!
I can barely stand to go into their bedroom, I don’t know how they can stand sleeping in it! It was so bad that last weekend I forced myself to go in there, but only after I made Ryan get all the dirty clothes off the floor and take the laundry basket out of the room. That helped a little.
Stuffed under the bottom bunk bed in a far corner, I found one bedsheet crumpled into a ball that might have been clean six months ago. I also found several dirty socks, which, ewwww. Once I got everything out from under the bed, I vacuumed the carpet, using the hose and the longest wand attachment to get underneath the bed. I then sprinkled Arm & Hammer carpet deodorizer all over the floor, let it sit a few minutes, then vacuumed again.
The room smelled clean for about a day. Sigh. I think I just need to resign myself right now to the fact that until both boys move out of the house one day, it’s just going to smell like stinky socks all the time. I love my boys with all my heart, but do they have to be so smelly?

I am a huge fan of the powder that you sprinkle and then vacuum up. I have one not sure the brand, but it smells like berries, the scent becomes stronger once I vacuum! I love it.
