Share funny emails with ForwardOn

by Elizabeth on November 21, 2008

I’m pretty sure that the forwarding of funny emails has been going on since the day email was invented. I’ll be honest, when I get emails forwarded to me that have already gone to 25 other people, I usually delete them. For one thing, it’s very easy for computer viruses to end up attached to mass emails, and also, I have a hard enough time managing my inboxes without having to read the latest email hoax. Also, think of all the hard drive storage being used up by forwarded emails.

ForwardOn is a free site that lets you post those funny emails and earn reward points to. It’s very simple:

Step 1: Simply forward any fun email to share@forwardon.com
Delete unwanted text (e.g. personal or company names) and forward any fun email to share@forwardOn.com. You can forward any types of attachments – pictures, videos, word, pdf, ppt, etc.
We will host your email content on forwardOn and send you a reply instantly with link to it. To share with your friends, simply forward the reply to them.
Step 2: Redeem points for great rewards
You will automatically earn points every time your email is viewed by MILLIONS of users on forwardOn.
Redeem points for great rewards or donate to charities listed here.

This is actually pretty cool. I always hate forwarding emails, though sometimes I do post them as you’ve noticed. I have a friend who sends some really good ones. Actually I have a few friends who send some good ones. I should definitely invite them!
