I have a child that has complicated epilepsy. He will be 6, 3 days before Christmas. He has delays due to having over 100,000 seizures between the ages of 12 -24 months of age. His speech is already 18 months behind (at last evaluation from the school) and I believe this would help him. I also have a grand daughter due Dec. 28th so it could be passed on to her when my little guy learns all he can from it.

My kids is who I would give it to. We live in San Diego and 60% of their classmates are fluent in Spanish and for 40% it’s the first (and sometimes only) spoken language. It would be great if they could communicate to their classmates and peers in their first language. We do not have a language integration school in our district so they won’t be taking Spanish until High School and sadly neither their father nor I speak Spanish. So I’m sure we could benefit from it, too!

Rebecca C December 4, 2008 at 12:36 am

I would use this for my youngest in her semi homeschooling!
