Giveaway- Changes Kit for Girls
Written by Elizabeth on December 31, 2008 – 11:05 am -This giveaway is closed. I used random.org to randomize the number of comments plus extra entries. The two winners are:
For the Young Miss Kit, Rebecca from Mommyhood is Thankless
For the Tomboy Kit, Donna from Donna’s World
Staten Island Registered Nurses Tara Harrington and Susanne Marcotte-Carroll have 6 young girls between them –all of whom are about to enter puberty. Tara and Susanne felt frustrated that there was nothing in the market place to help young girls and parents of young girls broach the topic of puberty and began reflecting on all of the questions no one gave them answers to when they were going through this.
So, they developed CHANGES. It’s a really cute kit for tween girls and parents of tweens to teach them the ins and outs of puberty and spark discussion in a friendly, confident, nurturing way. There are two varieties of Changes Kits: The “Young Miss” Changes Kit for the girliest of girls and the “Tomboy” kit for your sportier tween.
Each Kit includes:
)The Guide –which provides information about what to expect and how to navigate the agonizing process of puberty
)The Journal with menstrual calendar– to jot down notes, thoughts and whatever else she dreams up and the calendar within the journal helps her keep track of her cycle.
)The multi-color “mood” pen and super cute note cards — (if you need to tell your teacher or the school nurse what’s going on with out completely feeling mortified).
Each kit also features 3 uplifting scents. The “Young Miss” Kit includes scents such as FEEL PRETTY, RAINY DAY and DIVA while the “Tomboy” Changes Kit features TOM BOY, CELEBRATE, and KNOW IT ALL scents. Each of the scents can be mixed and matched or worn alone. It is all up to the girl and what she feels on any given day.

WIN IT: I’ve got one “Young Miss” kit and one “Tomboy” kit to give away. For one entry, visit the Changes website, browse around, then come back here and leave a comment with your real first name or blog name, valid email address, and whether you would like to be entered to win “Young Miss”, “Tomboy”, or either one. Enter by Friday, January 9th at 9:00 AM ET.
EXTRA ENTRIES: I’ll give you one extra entry for each of the following that you do or have done:
1. Link to http://momreviews.net on your blogroll.
2. Subscribe to the feed in a reader or by email. Link is in the sidebar.
3. Use social media to spread the word about this giveaway, by posting the link to StumbleUpon, Digg, Kirtsy, Twitter, or posting it on a Forum. You must leave your username for that site in your comment so I can check. This is a great way for non bloggers to earn an extra entry! Links are at the end of the post.
