The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea

Ariel and Eric must hide their precious daughter Melody’s mermaid heritage to protect her from Ursula’s revengeful sister Morgana in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea [Special Edition]. They hide Melody away behind a wall around the castle, and forbid her to learn anything about the ocean. When she becomes a teenager however, Melody gets too curious. Upon wishing that she was a mermaid, Morgana takes advantage of her wish to convince Melody to steal her grandfather’s Triton stick, which would give Melody power over the whole sea. Not much different from the first movie really, but for kids who’ve watched the first movie over and over, this is a great new way for them to see their favorite Little Mermaid characters plus meet some new ones. This sequel boasts new artists, four catchy tunes and some fun new characters, including Tip the penguin and Dash the walrus.
