How would you like to have a very special Valentine’s Day dinner BEFORE Valentine’s Day? If you’ve never tried to go out to eat on that day, let me tell you, it’s INSANE. And this year, Valentine’s Day is on a Saturday. It’s hard to enjoy a romantic dinner when you stood in line for 90 minutes to get a table!

Carraba’s has the solution, their Dal Cuore Nights celebration. The Dal Cuore Nights celebration includes a Prix Fixe Menu (Less than $20 per person) and $10 off any bottle of wine, including Ruffino’s Dal Cuore di Carrabba wine, a limited-edition baby Super Tuscan created exclusively for Carrabba’s. The prix fixe menu includes an appetizer, entreé and mini-dessert. Featured entreés include Carrabba’s favorites such as Sirloin Marsala, Chicken Bryan (shown in the image to the left), Chicken Marsala, Polo Rosa Maria and Grilled Salmon with the sauce of the day.
Topping off the evening, guests on February 11 and 12 will receive a special Dal Cuore Valentine’s Day Card featuring a “heartfelt” quote. One lucky quote recipient will win a romantic Italian escape for two including 7 night cruise and airfare. Beginning Sunday, March 1, 2009, the winning quote will be revealed on Carrabba’s website at www.carrabbas.com, where complete details are available.
I love eating at Carraba’s. My absolute favorite dish is the Pasta Weesie, which is Shrimp sautéed in a garlic, lemon butter, and white wine sauce with sautéed mushrooms and scallions, served over fettuccine alfredo. YUM.

We have a new Carraba’s, and I’d love to try anything on their menu!
Hey! I know *right* where our nearest Carraba’s is! I love eating there.
Quick funny story: We went there between hours of visitation for my grandpa’s funeral years ago. We have a big family, even with just the immediate relatives that were there so we had a large, long table right up by the bar with all of us gathered around. At the end of the meal the restaurant manager came by to ensure everyone enjoyed the meal. He was standing at the end of the table facing all 30+ of us and asked: “So, is this a special event?” With a big smile on his face. We were all silent for a moment. And them my uncle chimed in. “Our father passed away. We’re between visiting hours.” The poor man’s face turned SO red. Of course having the sick sarcastic humor my family has, my aunt chimed in to make him feel better and said: “It would have been his birthday next week. Can we have a cake?!” The poor man didn’t know whether to smile or not.
Anyway, I love Carrabas and will definitely never forget that dining experience with them.

I haven’t been to Carabas yet. We always go to the ‘other’ italian restaurant. We started to go there on my daughter’s birthday a couple of months ago but when she looked at their online menu she decided they serve too many seafood dishes. Was I disappointed. I love seafood!

Pasta Carrba is my favorite meal. Though, with the economy being the way it is, it has been quite a while since my husband and I have eaten dinner out! We have always had a consistently excellent meal at Carraba’, they run a tight ship at the one near our home. I hope I win, as it would be so nice to eat out for a change.

I have never visited Carraba’s before, but when I checked the locations there is one about 50 miles from here. It would make a really nice evening out for my husband and me.
I’ve been there once, and I loved their Manicotti, as well as their salad and bread, which tasted so fresh.
