Food Network chef Tyler Florence has partnered with Macy’s to find out what gets you cooking? Whether it’s a special occasion, a certain ingredient, whatever your reason, Macy’s want you to show them for a chance to win a $2,500 Macy’s kitchen shopping spree with Tyler Florence in San Francisco. Macy’s Contest Rules:
1.Create a short video (2 mins. or less) of yourself
demonstrating a favorite recipe that represents what gets you cooking. Then end your video with the line, “From my (insert your town) kitchen to yours, Macy’s keeps it cooking.”
2. Register online at Macy’s Keeps America Cooking. Once you’re registered you can upload your video and share it. Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite videos so don’t forget to tell your friends to vote for you.
PRIZE: The grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to San Francisco
and a $2,500 kitchen shopping spree at Macy’s with Tyler Florence. 9
runners-up will receive a $1,000 Macy’s Gift Card. Winners will be selected
from the top rated videos by Macy’s and Tyler Florence. All entries must be
received by April 3rd, 2009 11:59 pm EST to qualify. Please read the complete contest rules for all required information.

Hi Elizabeth! Not sure about recipes specific to any chef, but one of my favorite things to do is put a fish fillet in a square of tinfoil. Add potatoes, carrots, onion, salt, pepper, a little garlic and butter. Seal up and cook everything together in an oven. Great flavors!

My favorite recipe to make is my Chili. Its quick, its easy, and doesn’t take a lot of time. It can also sit on the stove for hours on end, so its great during football season!

I really like cooking a variety of things. Last night was my 8 year old son’s favorite, Pasta Carbonara. This morning was biscuits and gravy. But my favorite is probably muffins. Banana, Blueberry, Apple Cinnamon. They are good for breakfast with some hot tea. Mmmmm.
My favorite thing to cook is slow-simmered Pasta e Fagioli soup. So comforting on a cold day!

My favorite thing to make is a really simple Italian Chicken. I take some B/S chicken breast throw them in the crockpot with a full container of Italian dressing and some parmesan cheese and that’s it. Let the crockpot do the rest.
