I was sent a 500 ml bottle of Listerine Total Care and asked to blog about it by Johnson & Johnson’s and MomCentral. At first I wasn’t sure what flavor it was going to be since it’s purple, but it’s actually mint. I’m guessing it’s purple to set it apart from the regular Mint Listerine.

I’ve used regular Listerine as a mouthwash, and there’s a definite difference to the Listerine Total Care. It left my mouth feeling like I had scrubbed my teeth right along the gumline. Whatever the ingredient is that fights plaque at the gumline, it definitely works!
