Vtech Spin Around Learning Town

This review for the Vtech Demo Team is for the Spin Around Learning Town, which is recommended for ages 12 months to 3 years. My 3.5 year old daughter has lots of fun playing with it! What I like best is that it’s three-sided, so she can move from one activity to another and it holds her attention for longer.

The three sides are: farm play with 5 brightly colored piano keys that teach colors, numbers, animal names and sounds. There’s a friendly rooster, sliding window and beads. The home side looks like a boy sitting in his bedroom with a clock with moving arms, a swing and sliding beads. The third side, yard side, offers a turning book page with two sing along nursery rhyme songs, swing and sliding peek-a-boo window.

This is a toy that will definitely grow with your child.  Make sure to keep the battery cover screwed on tightly as it is on the side rather than bottom of the toy.  The Vtech Spin Around Learning Town is available on Amazon.com right now for $21.66.

    Hi “Student”,

This is not the right toy for a newborn. I’d go with a cute stuffed animal or soft blanket. Just a suggestion. P.S. next time you comment please use a real first name.

We bought a few of the v-tech toys but we have had much better results with the Leapfrog toys and learning systems. They have proven to be more durable and overall just seem to work better. My son is on his second version of the Leapster learning system. The games are very fun from his viewpoint, and VERY educational from ours. We just got him Star Wars Jedi Math. He plays it all the time and his math skills are excellent. If you like the v-tech stuff, I think you’ll love Leapfrog.

    Hi “radio flyer wagon”,

*sigh* I love comments on my blogs, but your Mom didn’t really name you “radio flyer wagon”, did she? If you want to buy a text link ad on this blog, I would love to have you as an advertiser! Otherwise, in the future, please leave comments with a real first name. Make one up, it doesn’t matter, just don’t use keywords. I’ve taken the time to make up a name for you this time.

P.S. if you do a search on this blog for the words “Leapfrog”, you’ll find my reviews of their products :)
