I was thrilled to be asked to review the New York Times book Obama: The Historic Journey: Young Reader’s Edition . This wonderful book combines beautiful photographs and in-depth coverage of Obama’s voyage from “a skinny kid with a funny name” to the 44th President of the United States. Readers learn about the Primaries, the Electoral College, as well as personal information about Mrs. Obama and the First Daughters Sasha and Malia.
I think this is a terrific book for kids and parents alike. Amazon.com recommends it for readers ages 9-12, younger kids may not be able to understand the text, but they will surely enjoy looking at the pictures. To purchase it from Amazon using my affiliate link (which earns me a few cents, thank you!), click the link at the beginning of the post.

Yeah I think too that this a good book not only for kids but for everyone who love to reads, or if you wish to know more about President Obama.
I was considering getting this book for my 10 year old daughter. Thanks for the review. Now I know that she would enjoy it.
