Holiday Gift Guide- Crayon Town

by Elizabeth on November 21, 2009

From Wild Planet Entertainment comes Crayola™ Crayon Town, where crayons make figures come to life! I first got a look at Crayon Town when Wild Planet was a vendor at BlogHer, and their table was across the aisle from the book table where I volunteered. I couldn’t stop wandering over to marvel at the genius of Crayon Town!  It’s a black-and-white playmat kids can color,  then they use the crayons to join together the heads and bodies of animals, or the tops and bottoms of trees-it’s so cool!  Crayon Town was named one of the FunFare Hot Dozen for 2009, and FunFare sent me Crayon Town to review.  These are the two playsets we received:

CrayonTown

Crayon Town Zoo comes with a zookeeper, a monkey, a giraffe, an alligator, a lion, a polar bear, an all-terrain vehicle with an attachable wagon, a gateway, and three Fold & Build™ structures- a Polar Cave, a Lion Cave, a Monkey Tree, two 22″ x 17″ coloring mats, and 8 crayons. There’s also a Large Playset that’s a construction site. Price: $24.95

The smaller box in the photo is Crayon Town Neighborhood, one of the three Small Playsets. It comes with a neighbor, a dog, a tree, a car, a Fold & Build™ house, two 11″ by 17″ coloring mats, and four crayons. The other two Small Playsets are an airport and a ranch. Price: $14.95

Buy all the Crayon Town products from Wild Planet at shopwildplanet.com. I have become a huge fan of Crayon Town and I’m highly recommending the playsets as gifts this holiday season!

disclosure: I received two Crayon Town playsets for free with no additional compensation. All opinions in the post are 100% mine.
