My Review:
I hope this DVD is just the first of a new franchise for LEGO! Watching this DVD refreshed our love of LEGOS and all the cool things you can build with them. My boys grumbled when I said “hey, come watch this DVD with me!”, but they both watched it all the way through and at the end, admitted it was “pretty cool”, which is high praise coming from 11 and 13 year old boys :) It didn’t hold my 4 year old daughter’s attention for very long, but I bet if LEGO came out with a Princess movie, she would definitely watch it!

For fans of LEGO, The Adventures of Clutch Powers is an entertaining, family-friendly DVD. Don’t be surprised if your kids ask to get some new LEGOS after you watch it!

Older brickheads and young Lego enthusiasts alike will have a blast with this highly enjoyable LEGO adventure on DVD. My son had a grand time spotting his toys amongst the action of the overall superb animation (especially the backgrounds). The story is fun and jumps around the LEGO universe in a ridiculous fashion, the humour is overall perfect for the age group this is aimed at and fun for those still young at heart.

I have two boys 4 and 6 who are, of course, HUGE Lego fanatics. We have had this for 2 days and have already watched it 4 times. My only problem with the movie is that it uses words that I dont really like for my boys to use (idiot, stupid, fool) and I just don’t think it’s necessary to include these words in kids movies. There was also some mild “romantic humor” which I could have done without, but really not a big deal.
