While I was at BlogHer, The Art of Shaving kindly sent their Starter Shaving Kit for my husband so he could get some pampering while I was away. That was very thoughtful!

I’m trying to convince my 13 year old son, who is already shaving, to try it instead. He’s skeptical about the brush, not having grown up with a father who uses a shaving brush. It definitely seems like a lost art form, lathering up shaving soap in a bowl with a brush and applying it.

I have given my husband many gifts, but I had not thought about a shaving kit…maybe I shall give it to him for his next birthday
