We’ve been having wonderfully warm weather here in Michigan, bright sunny days and temps in the high 50s, which for us is practically shorts and t-shirts weather. Kaitlyn’s in preschool three days a week and they go outside at least once for recess, sometimes twice if they do a nature walk to collect the beautiful yellow, orange and red leaves that are falling. The knees of her jeans get grass-stained and sometimes a little muddy, which means it’s time to break out the stain remover for the laundry.
As one of the bloggers for the Growing Tree Toys Network, I was selected to receive a package of Shout® stain removers to help fight the tough stains that come from having kids that play outside
I also got a deck of 52 Nature Activities Cards by Lynn Gordon.
Shout® Color Catcher® sheets absorb and trap loose dyes in your wash water, safeguarding your clothes from color bleeds and helping to preserve original colors. It’s still a good idea to sort your laundry by color, but if a colored sock accidentally gets in with the whites, the Color Catcher sheet will keep loose dyes from the sock from discoloring a white t-shirt. The proof is on the sheet because they change color as they absorb the loose dyes. Pretty cool idea!
Shout® Trigger Laundry Stain Remover is formulated with powerful stain-fighting ingredients and enzymes to quickly penetrate, break up, and remove tough stains. It’s triple-acting formula clings, penetrates, and lifts away stains. It works better on fresh stains than old ones, and the longer you let it set, the more of the stain it removes. It’s easy to just spray it on while you’re sorting your laundry, and it’s safe for all washable colors. It’s the one I use the most, even before I was sent some to review!
Shout® Advanced Ultra Gel combines Shout® stain fighters in a thick gel formula that works really well on heavy duty stains. The plastic bristles at the end of the tube help break up crusty stains (I used it on a blob of ketchup that had dried on Kaitlyn’s shirt) and work the gel deep into the fabric. The faster you get it on and the longer you can let it soak in, the better it will work. It’s safe on colors and works with all water temperatures. Another great product!
With Shout® products you can let your kids play outside and not worry about their clothes getting ruined with stains. For ideas for the backyard, playground, or park, check out the 52 Nature Activities Cards by Lynn Gordon, available on Amazon.com. Some of my favorite ideas from the deck include practicing spelling words and names with twigs and rocks, tapping trees with sticks and noticing the different sounds you can make, and noticing the patterns in nature and using it to practice counting, like counting the points on leaves and plants. These cards might just get ME out of the house a little more often!
Visit Shout® on Facebook for info, free samples and coupons, to learn more about their “Go Play” initiative, and to find solutions to stain problems. And, please visit Growing Toys to find fantastic Learning Toys for all ages!
Thanks again to Growing Tree Toys Network and Shout® for including me in this campaign. I appreciate getting the products to keep and the opportunity to share my opinions with MomReviews readers!

I am glad I stopped by this site. I am always having trouble with bleeding colors in my laundry. I have more once white t-shirts that are now pink than I care to count because of my teenagers doing the laundry. I will have to try out the Shout color catcher sheets. I really hope they work!
Wrought iron objects are my favourite. I always have my wrought iron fences and patio set cleaned and sanded from rust at the same guys I initially bought the wrought iron objects from http://www.fierforjatkmc.ro . They did a good job.
Wow, what a great idea on those Shout color catchers. I will have to have my son in college try those. Perhaps it will cut down some on the “pink” underwear!
