We have a really motley collection of hand-me-down furniture. The sofa in our playroom has got to be 20 years old, our living room couch is at least 10, and the green La-Z Boy recliner I’m sitting in right now is probably also 10 and also has a huge rip right down the center of the seat.  Sigh.  I would love to be able to get all new furniture, something more modern that doesn’t scream “we’ll happily take that old couch off your hands”.

I also wish we had one of those pull-out couches, because when the boys have friends sleep over, one of them has to sleep on the couch back there and I know it’s not that comfortable. I would love to get a modern sofa bed like this one from 24/7 Shop at Home, although definitely not in white!

I also desperately need a frame for Kaitlyn’s bed, which is currently a (looks around, whispers) mattress on the floor. I know, I know! But when we moved her from her toddler bed to a twin size because our friends were having a baby and needed a toddler bed to get their little one out of the crib, we just put the mattress on the floor and figured we’d get a frame and box spring “soon”. How absolutely gorgeous is this?
