Freddi the Dog is a silly book about a loveable dog named Freddi. Freddi, according to the book, is ” the nicest, sweetest, most lovable, dog in the whole, entire world.” Unfortunately, Freddi sometimes gets into trouble. One night, the family goes out, leaving Freddi alone. Freddi, being the silly dog she is, begins eating everything in the house, mistaking it for food! She mistakes a phone for a hotdog, pillows for marshmallows, belts as licorice, and books as big pieces of bread! Now the house is destroyed, and Freddi is huge! When the family returns, Father is furious! They kick her out for the the night. Little did they know, Freddi was sick! When Mother and Father find out, they rush to go see Dr. Combover, the veterinarian. How does this goofy story end? Buy Freddi the Dog at their website, www.freddithedog.com for $10.00.

Book Description:
This robot has two eyes, two arms, and two legs, but what really makes him tick? Inside The Robot Book, Heather Brown answers that question with an interactive story that will enchant tinkerers of all ages. The working—and moving—gears, cogs, nuts, and bolts mounted on each beautifully illustrated spread will keep little fingers busy and imaginations engaged as the charming story reveals the secret behind what really makes the robot tick.
Kaitlyn and I love this book! We’ve gone through it again and again. It has parts that slide and turn, gears that move and flaps that open. And best of all, it has a great message that while parts are important, it’s the heart that really makes the robot (and for that matter, people) special. Here’s a cute video for the book:
