My oldest son Ryan has been talking about going to college since middle school. He wants to be a paleontologist, which definitely requires a college degree. I know he will thrive at college, where there are challenges and other people interested in learning. I can picture him walking to class, listening to lectures, writiing papers. I want to get him to college more than anything!

Unfortunately, college is also expensive, and we have no savings for it. I KNOW. Winning even $1000 from UPromise would help out so much! I submitted my story on the Upromise Dream Wall and I’m hoping it gets some votes so I can win even the weekly prize! You can vote it up here - http://www.upromisetodream.com/ind-stories.html?storyID=10113

If you want to enter the sweepstakes, click the upromisetodream link at the top of the post and submit your story. See the dream wall official rules for all the details. Good luck!

Smucker’s Uncrustables Perfect For Crust-Haters

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Triad Retail Media for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My daughter Kaitlyn will not eat the crust on sandwiches. Every sandwich I make her, the plate comes back to me with a pile of crusts on it.  When I got this offer from SocialSpark to write about Smucker’s Uncrustables, I realized that I had been forgetting what an easy solution to the crust-hating problem they are!

Uncrustables are individually wrapped, round peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that come on white or whole wheat bread. Instead of crust, the edges of the bread are pressed together to hold the fillings in. There were samples of Uncrustables at a BlogHer conference I went to, I can’t remember which one, but I do remember being surprised how soft and fresh they taste considering that Uncrustables start out frozen!

Smucker’s Uncrustables come in PB & Grape Jelly on white bread, PB & Grape Jelly on Whole Wheat, PB & Honey on Whole Wheat, PB & Strawberry Jam on white, and PB & Strawberry Jam on Whole Wheat. Our favorite is the PB & Strawberry Jam on Whole Wheat, yum!

They are perfect for packing in lunch boxes because you can just pull one out of the freezer in the morning, and by lunchtime, they are thawed and ready to eat. I saw on the Uncrustables Twitter page that some people like to only thaw them halfway and eat them still a little frozen on hot days!

If you’re a fan of Uncrustables, head over to their Facebook page and give them a Like, then click the Unstoppables link to learn how you and your family could win a trip to Yosemite National Park!
