Site Review: BridgeView Dental of Austin Texas

For my readers in the Austin, Texas area, BridgeView Dental wants to let you know that Austin Dentist Lance Loveless and his staff offer a wide variety of procedures, including cleanings, braces,  teeth-whitening, dental implants, and veneers.  Dr. Loveless is also a Neuromuscular Dentist, which means he can treat TMJ, a condition which means the jaw and mandible are out of alignment. This can cause a lot of pain and other symptoms.

I took a look at all the pages on the site. It’s well-organized and easy to search.  There’s a page just for new patients, with links to request an appointment, get information on the hours and see a map to the office, print the forms new patients need to fill out, get insurance and billing information, and more. The phone number to the office is on every page, which is a smart idea.

I was surprised to see on the site that BridgeView Dental even welcomes out-of-town patients, and their staff will help with hotel and travel arrangements. Talk about excellent service!

My dentist’s office doesn’t even have a website, so my impression of BridgeView Dental is that they understand that people often look first for a website for a business to get more information on it. Being able to print and fill out the new patient forms ahead of time means less time waiting, and the detailed information about all of the staff members might make people who are nervous about dental procedures more comfortable, since they can see exactly who will be there when they go to the office.

Great job on your site, BridgeView Dental! I hope this post helps my Austin area readers find a new dentist!

Get Rid Of Your Junk With 1800GotJunk

1-800-GOT-JUNK?

If you watch “Hoarders” on A&E, you’ve seen the big blue and green trucks that show up along with a team of people ready to haul junk out of the houses. Those trucks are from 1-800-Got-Junk, the company that sponsored this post. They asked me to take a look at their website and share how they handle Junk Removal with MomReviews readers.

1-800-Got-Junk is a full-service junk removal company, they handle everything from hauling your junk out to their trucks to donating or recycling as much as they can. In fact, since 1989, they’ve saved over 1.5 billion pounds of junk from landfills!  They can come to your home, office, retail location, construction site, or anywhere you have junk you need to get rid of.

Yard waste, old appliances, electronics, tires, construction debris, the junk in your basement or attic – whatever you have, they can haul it away, and they even clean up after themselves. Just call to book a no-obligation appointment and a truck team will come, assess your junk, give you an upfront price for removal, load all the items you need removed from the location, and clean up the area before they leave.

Chris and I have used 1-800-Got-Junk ourselves, when we lived at our old house.  The previous owners had left a broken refrigerator, a couple of dead car batteries, and some old furnace parts behind in the garage.  We called, the truck showed up with two men, we showed them what we needed hauled away, they gave us a firm price that we agreed to, they loaded up the truck, and then helped us sweep up the garage before leaving. We didn’t have to figure out where or how to dispose of an old fridge and dead batteries, the price was reasonable, and we gained a bunch of garage space!

So yeah, 1-800-Got-Junk is a company I’m happy to recommend. And it makes me even happier to know that they recycle as much of what they haul away as they can.  The last thing any of us need to do is fill up landfills more. If you’ve got junk you can’t just throw away in your weekly trash pickup but don’t know what else to do with it, give 1-800-Got-Junk a call!

Spirit Solar Website Review

Throughout England and Wales, businesses and residences looking to harness the power of the sun for solar electricity and/or solar hot water heaters are turning to Spirit Solar. Spirit Solar provides a network of locally based solar panel installers, and has dedicated many years to becoming specialists in solar installations.

I learned a lot I didn’t know about how solar energy works from reviewing the Spirit Solar website!  They have great graphics that show exactly how  photovoltaic solar panels installed on a roof convert sunshine into power.  When the sun shines on the panels, the panels generate direct current (DC) which flows into an inverter box, turning it into alternating current (AC). From there, it goes into a fuse box, and is either used right away by whatever is plugged in (TV, washing machine, etc.) or if it’s not used, the electricity goes into the national grid.

What’s cool about that is that the user gets paid for generating that surplus energy!  If you’re reading this and you live in England or Wales, head over to the Spirit Solar website to find out how you can install solar panels and not only generate your own electricity but also get paid for generating more than you need!
