Baskin-Robbins Hard Candy

Halloween is a favorite holiday for many reasons ~ kids get that once-a-year chance to dress up like a ghoul, goblin or creature of choice. And, of course, it’s all about the candy! But what if you don’t crave the typical chocolate bar or caramel confection as your All Hallow’s Eve treat? We tried Espresso ‘n Cream, Cookies ‘n Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Ryan, Kaitlyn and Chris’ favorite was the Mint Chocolate Chip, Nathan and I both liked the Espresso ‘n Cream and the Cookies ‘n Cream best. If you enjoy drinking a Starbucks coffee with sugar or Splenda in it, that’s what the Espresso ‘n Cream tastes like. Yum!

The Cookies ‘n Cream hard candy is made with real cream and dark cocoa, the Mint Chocolate Chip is made with real cream, dark cocoa, and smooth mint flavor, and the Espresso ‘n Cream is made with real cream and natural espresso flavor. Baskin Robbins Candy and Bee M.D. Throat Drops Giveaway

I recently had a chance to sample delicious ice cream-flavored hard candy from Baskin Robbins, and organic honey throat drops from Bee M.D., and I asked if I could do a giveaway so I could share these yummy and healthy treats with you!  How could I resist the chance to give two lucky readers two bags of Baskin Robbins ice cream flavored hard candy and throat drops made with honey? There are four flavors- Cookie ‘n Cream, Pralines ‘n Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Espresso ‘n Cream.  I received Cookie ‘n Cream and Mint Chocolate Chip.  Each bag contains individually wrapped candies so you can throw a few in your pocket or purse to enjoy anytime.  My kids were VERY enthusiastic testers for this review! We liked both flavors equally, although the Mint Chocolate Chip candies were eaten faster because my husband helped “test” those too :)  I like that there are sugar-free options as well.

Delicious chocolates from Weight Watchers

If your family celebrates Easter and gives chocolate and other candy to your kids, then you are probably surrounded by bags of tempting treats that are sure to bust your diet.  But never fear, you can indulge in chocolate without feeling guilty with ONE POINT chocolates from Weight Watchers, by candy maker Whitman’s.

I reviewed Pecan Crowns and English Toffee Squares, and my kids and I demolished both bags in a few days.  The product line includes chocolates with coconut, nougat, mint, and new chocolate mousse and peanut butter cups (peanut butter cups are 2 POINTS each).  There was absolutely nothing “diet tasting” about either of the chocolates we sampled, no weird aftertaste or anything. They just tasted like pieces of yummy chocolate!

Weight Watchers chocolates are available in stores and online at the Weight Watchers by Whitman’s site. At around $3.00 a bag, you can afford to try more than one!
