Febreze Air Effects Limited Edition Cinnamon Sugar & Home Scent

Make your whole house smell warm and inviting with Febreze Air Effects Limited Edition Cinnamon Sugar & Home collection. The product description says it’s “The warm aroma of homemade cinnamon glazed pastries mixing with the soothing sweetness of vanilla.” Yum, right?

Febreze sent me the collection to try, and I just wish this wasn’t a Limited Edition scent. I would use this year round! It just smells so good.  The collection includes an Air Refresher spray, a candle, a scented oil warmer kit, an alternating scented oil warmer, and a dual scented oil refill kit.  The scented oil warmer kit is just the cinnamon sugar scent, the alternating one alternates between the cinnamon sugar and the vanilla fragrances.

I keep the Air Refresher spray in the kitchen, the candle in the living room, and the alternating scented oil warmer in the back room where the kids hang out.  I like being able to get that nice hit of cinnamon around the room, but I do prefer the alternating kit because I think the vanilla tempers the cinnamon, mellows the smell out, if that makes sense.

I’m not sure if Target or Walmart stores still have the Cinnamon Sugar & Home products on the shelves, but I did find a value pack on Amazon.com that has all five products for $19.99.  My honest opinion is that this is a great way to fragrance your home with the delicious smells of cinnamon and vanilla!

Refresh Your Halloween Costume With Febreze

FebrezeAre you re-using pieces of last year’s Halloween costume this year? Have a younger child wearing the costume their older sibling previously wore?  I’m all for getting as much mileage as possible out of costumes, considering how much they cost for something that gets worn for one day. But a lot of Halloween costumes aren’t washable! Especially pieces made with foam, like super hero costumes where the “muscles” are pieces of foam padding. So what do you do if you want a child to wear a previous child’s costume, but it’s been sitting in a tub in the closet for a year? You freshen it up with Febreze Fabric Refresher!

I have a  large plastic tub in the boys’ closet where I toss the costumes on November 1st each year, then the next year I pull things out and we try to come up with ways to use pieces again. Febreze asked if they could send me a bottle of their Fabric Refresher to test out on our Halloween costumes, so when the full-size bottle arrived, I went to the boys’ closet and pulled out last year’s black capes. You know, a black cape has been the best purchase I ever made for Halloween, because the boys have worn them as part of all kinds of costumes.

I received the Febreze with a touch of Downy fabric softener. I tied the neck strings of the capes around hangers and spritzed the Febreze all over both sides, then left them to dry.  When I checked back a couple of hours later, the capes were dry and smelled fresh, like they had gone through the dryer.

Of course, Febreze Fabric Refresher works on all kinds of fabrics, upholstery, carpet, drapes, and even the air. Just mist it on everything as you move through a room you’re cleaning. Like the commercial says, it’s like “washing” a whole room! And, it lets you “wash” a Halloween Costume that isn’t machine-washable so it’s fresh to wear this year too. Pretty cool!
