Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix Prize Pack Giveaway

Do you love molasses cookies? If you go to the Betty Crocker website, they have a great Soft Molasses Cookie Recipe that calls for all these ingredients:

1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 1/4 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons granulated sugar

That is a LOT of ingredients, and the thing I hate is buying something like ground cloves because I need 1/2 a teaspoon, then it just sits there in my spice rack until it expires. Well, Betty Crocker must have heard from bakers that they wanted an easier way to make these cookies, because now there is Betty Crocker Molasses Cookie Mix in a convenient pouch!

Cheerios New Author Contest Info And Giveaway

    Campbell’s Select Harvest Prize Pack Giveaway

    Ever since I went to Campbell’s headquarters in 2009 for a blogger event, I’ve been proud to call myself a Campbell’s Soup Mom. When they email me, I know they have something really great to share!  Campbell’s Select Harvest Light line of soups are 100% natural and low calorie, with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. These soups use high-quality, real ingredients and contain no MSG. Six of the varieties have only 80 calories per serving, and two have only 50 calories per serving!

    You would think soup with such low calories wouldn’t be filling, but the amount of veggies packed into each serving provides fiber that really fills me up. My favorite is the Roasted Chicken with Italian Herbs for a meal, and the Light Italian-Style Vegetable to eat with a sandwich. The veggies are good size and tender but not mushy. Just be careful with the serving size since even though Campbell’s Select Harvest Light uses sea salt which has less sodium than table salt, the sodium level is still pretty high.
