Fresh Produce is the resort and sportswear clothing line founded by husband and wife Thom and Mary Ellen Vernon. During the ’84 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, they sold silk-screened t-shirts with bright graphics as well as custom jewelry in the parking lot across the street from the Olympic stadium. In 1986, they named their company Fresh Produce, and it has grown into a line of original, comfortable, casual women’s clothing that can be found in Nordstrom, Walt Disney resorts and stores, and over 800 specialty boutiques and resort retailers.
Fresh Produce offered me one outfit to review and one to give away, and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy to pick! As much as I loved the colorful short sleeve tops and lightweight pants, the reality of living in Michigan meant that I wanted to pick something that would keep me warm. I chose the 3/4 Sleeve ribbed Tee and the matching French Terry capris. I’m wearing them in this picture:
Fresh Produce calls this top a “tee”, but the fabric to me is more like a lightweight sweatshirt. It keeps me warm and cozy, and for someone with short arms, the 3/4 length sleeve is nice for a change! No more having to roll up my sleeves! lol
I told my husband that this outfit is so comfortable, I want it in every color. Next time though, I would choose full-length pants so I can wear them in the colder months. In case you are wondering, this is the “Tortoise Shell” color in both pieces.

Just looking at that top makes me want to be sitting on a patio table watching waves roll up on a beach while drinking something tropical!
