Disney Princess Table and Chair Set

In July I wrote about CSN Stores, a one-stop shopping site of over 200 stores with great discounts on pretty much everything. Whether you need furniture, appliances, luggage, a swingset, a new trash can, a rug, a jewelry box, or an air hockey table, there’s a CSN Store for that!   To thank me for taking the time to write about the site in July, CSN Stores offered me the product of my choice under $50. Do you know how hard it was to choose just ONE thing from everything sold at 200 + different sites?  After much debating, I finally settled on something I knew my 3.5 year old daughter would LOVE- a Disney Princess Table and Chairs set.

See, my daughter loves to have pretend tea parties.  She has two different tea sets and the pieces were scattered around her room. I wanted her to be able to have a proper tea party with a chair for her to sit in and a chair for a doll. I found the perfect table at All Children’s Furniture!

Tea Party

As you can see, Kaitlyn and Zoe (from the Karito Kid collection) are enjoying an assortment of pretend tea and cakes, served from both a recycled plastic tea pot and a Fisher Price Musical tea pot, because it’s important to have variety. I just wish Zoe would have removed her hat at the table :)

This table and chairs set is extremely sturdy, was easy to assemble, and the surface is wipeable. Here’s a close up of the table top:

I really appreciate CSN Stores sending me the table and chairs for review. Next time I need to buy something online, I’ll be checking their site first to see what kind of deals I can get!

Coming Soon-Review for CSN Stores

CSN Stores are a collection of online specialty stores that offer customers a way to shop for over 1,000,000 products including baby and kids’ furniture, housewares, home decor, and so much more.

I got an email asking if I wanted to do a review for one of the CSN Stores, and the hardest part was deciding which of the many stores to even start with! The PR rep suggested a rug or kids’ furniture, so after a lot of time browsing, I settled on the CSN Store All Children’s Furniture, which sells everything from toddler beds to toys. My daughter has been full-on in love with anything Princess for about a year now, so I picked this adorable Disney Princess storage table and chairs from Delta Children’s Products for her room:

How adorable is that!?!  The best part is, once the table and chairs arrive and we have a chance to review them, I’ll be hosting a giveaway for CSN Stores and the lucky winner will get to choose a product for themselves! Watch for that giveaway around the beginning of August, once I’ve recovered from BlogHer :)

Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair

This is the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair, which I received from Family Review Network:

pledgesweeper1

It’s a one-piece, handheld, lightweight way to sweep pet hair off of your furniture. There’s a collecting chamber on top, and two roller brushes underneath.

This is our cat, Blackdrop. She lives on the top of our living room couch:

The Fabric Sweeper has arrows on the top to show you which way to move it across furniture. You use short strokes going back and forth, and the brushes pick up the pet hair and deposit it into the collection chamber. I found that it took some extra handling on my part to get the rollers to ‘let go’ of the pet hair, this is what they looked like after my first couple of swipes across the top of the couch:

The directions say to run the rollers over a clean part of the upholstery to get the hair moving into the collection chamber, but I chose to use my fingers to move the rollers, plus I had to pick a few extra-long dog hairs off. This was the collection chamber when I was done:

When the chamber is full, you throw it away. For a retail price of around $5.49, if you have pets, you need to keep one of these on hand. Not only does it make your furniture cleaner, but if someone calls and says hey, I’m on my way over to visit, it’s SO much easier to grab this than to drag out your whole vacuum cleaner hose attachment thingy just to de-fur your couch.

This post was written for Family Review Network as part of a program by SC Johnson, who also supplied the product for review and giveaway.
