Holiday Gift Guide-Crafty Baby Clutch Ball and Nap Mat

I wish I had a baby in the house so I would have a reason to buy a Clutch Ball from Crafty Baby! My mother made one for Ryan when he was a newborn, not quite the same as the one shown in the photo, but similar. Babies love them!  Crafty Baby products are designed and handmade here in the USA by Jill Chuckas, and she contacted me to suggest her Clutch Ball and Nap Mat as holiday gift ideas.  This is one of those posts I’m doing “just because”, I didn’t ask Jill to send any samples (just for disclosure purposes).  Descriptions are from Crafty Baby:

clutchballspic_smallOur original design clutch ball is great for children ages 4 months and up. 7″ in diameter and divided into 4 sections for easy gripping, this ball is a soft and durable toy. Light jingle bells are hidden inside. Safe for eating, grabbing, throwing at siblings and furniture, this ball is also safe for the washing machine and dryer.

Price: $16.50 each

NapPackThe most popular item in the the Crafty Baby line, our nap pack / nap mat is perfect for your growing 2-7 year old who may have a nap / rest time at preschool, kindergarten, day care, etc. Durable, warm & cozy Fleece is used for this blanket with attached pillow. The blanket is approximately 48 inches long, with a rectangular 11″ x 16″ pillow attached to the top. Intentionally designed to fit on a standard preschool cot, kindermat or carpet, our Nap Pack is not bulky and fits snuggly into a cubby or hangs on a hook. When rest time is over, the child simply rolls up his/her nap mat, velcros the securely attached straps, grabs the handle and he/she is off! Children from age 3 can easily be self sufficient with this blanket. Kids will ask you when their next rest time is! As always machine wash & dry.

Price: $39.99 each

Holiday Gift Guide-MyPacifier Personalized Pacifiers

MyPacifiersInvented by Pia Callesen, a Danish Mom who often picked her son up from daycare and found some other child’s pacifier in his mouth (ewww!), MyPacifier was the first company to start selling personalized pacifiers in the USA. Pia didn’t want to write her child’s name on his pacifier with permanent marker, she wanted a pacifier that already had his name on it. No one was selling them, so Pia started MyPacifier as a way to sell parents a stylish pacifier they could personalize with any name! At three for $15.00, the price is higher than buying a pack in the drugstore, but if having your child’s name on the pacifier means it won’t end up in some other kid’s mouth at daycare? That is totally worth it. Check out all the great designs in the MyPacifier shop.
