baby-charmThings Remembered, the company that helps you celebrate Life’s Moments, introduces “Charm Story“- a one-of-a-kind collection of more than 50 silver plated engravable charms.  The charms come in shapes designed to reflect a unique occasion such as the birth of a baby or graduation. Each can be engraved with names, dates and other information to reflect the special story of the receiver, and can then be worn on either a charm bracelet or necklace.

Charm Story charms regularly sell for $20 each as do the charm bracelet and necklace, but right now to get you started, Things Remembered is offering the bracelet or necklace with a ”First Chapter” starter charm – either a heart, circle, star or dog tag-shaped charm – for just $30. Engraving is a small, additional cost. Great deal!

Things Remembered very generously sent me a necklace with three heart charms, each engraved with the name and birthdate of one of my children, plus little birthstone gems that clip on to the necklace. It’s beautiful!

Unfortunately that’s the last time you or I will see it because I was so excited to show it to my blog friends that I took it with me on the trip to Stouffer’s and left my jewelry pouch in my room-and of course the Cleveland Marriott East lost and found doesn’t have it. I hope whoever stole it from my room has kids named Ryan, Nathan, and Kaitlyn. Grrrrr. But I digress.

I am so thrilled to be working with Fleishman Hillard and Lands’ End on this amazing giveaway where one lucky winner gets to choose their prize! My family recently reviewed three terrific products from the Lands’ End Winter Catalog- The Women’s Cashmere Tee Long Sleeve Sweater, the Men’s Down Vest, and the Kids’ Sleeping Bag Set, and as with every Lands’ End thing we own, we love all three! Before I announce the giveaway, let me tell you a little more about each of the items.

Lands' End Women's Cashmere Tee SweaterThe Women’s Cashmere Tee Sweater has the lightweight feel of a tee but the cozy warmth of a sweater. It’s so light, you can layer it under another sweater without feeling all bulked up. The photo I took in my bathroom doesn’t really do the color justice; this is the “China Blue”. The Natural Fit is designed to flatter your curves without clinging too tightly. And, the incredible softness comes from the Kashmir goats of Mongolia, whose coarse winter coats guard the cashmere, which is combed away ounces at a time and spun into yarns. lands end kids sleeping bag setMy boys have a friend (or two) sleep over at least two weekends a month, and sometimes it’s on the spur of the moment, so I was grateful to get this Lands’ End Sleeping Bag so I have an extra for an extra kid to use. I ordered it in the Light Blue Stripe pattern shown in the image, but if you win this giveaway and choose this for your prize, you can also pick from a soft green with little horses or pink with a tiny floral. This sleeping bag is made with incredibly soft cotton and a plush filling for warmth. My daughter likes to lay it out on the living room floor and fill it with stuffed animals, then crawl in it to play! We also have had to wash it already thanks to an unfortunate Pull-up leaking accident; although the stain didn’t come out completely (I treated the stain with Shout but it didn’t get it all out and then Chris took it to the laundromat and washed and dried it. Definitely not Lands’ End’s fault). My point is, the washing did not diminish the softness or make the fabric pill up or anything, so it’s good to know that it can be washed and dried and will still look great! (provided that refusing-to-potty-train toddlers don’t sit on it with dirty Pull-ups). The Sleeping Bag comes with a coordinating pillowcase (but not a pillow), and a soft bag to store it in.
