Bounce Houses Now is having a contest on Facebook. Bloggers are invited to post their logo on BHN’s wall, then ask their friends to “Like” their post. The blogger that gets the most Likes will be reviewing the Little Star Bounce House AND getting one to give away!

Go to Bounce Houses Now’s Facebook page and “Like” them.  Once you do that, click the “Just Others’ link and look for the MomReviews badge. Click “Like” on that post and your vote is counted!

Super-Quick Giveaway! Win Mozaik Reusable or Disposable Dinnerware

Raise your hand if you ran out of dishes over the holidays!  On Thanksgiving, when we had Chris’ family here and therefore more people than plates, I was grateful that Mozaik, through MyBlogSpark, had sent me their 40 piece Service for Eight.

Mozaïk  plastic party ware can be washed and reused, or simply disposed of. It provides a fashionable, affordable alternative to paper plates and fine china. Mozaik’s new Service for Eight kit is great to have on hand for when your guest list is larger than your china and flatware collection! The 40-piece “party in a box” adds eight place settings (forks, knives and spoons, salad plates and dinner plates) and is great for every holiday gathering from a small cocktail party to a large holiday buffet.

Because I feel too guilty about throwing something that is still useful away, I’ve opted to reuse my Mozaik products. They can be hand washed or go in the dishwasher on the gentle cycle.  We’ve been reusing the silverware and plates for the party kit since Thanksgiving, and the only signs of wear are a bit of the gold colored trim around some of the plates is starting to rub off.  The silverware is still looking shiny even after being vigorously hand-scrubbed.

The only complaint I have is that the plastic bowl has a sticker on the INSIDE of the bottom, which you can see in the photo above. After peeling off the sticker, I was left with a sticky residue at the bottom of the bowl.  I’m still trying to find a safe way to remove it, obviously I can’t use Goo Gone or nail polish remover!  But just so you know, if you win this giveaway – there’s a sticker on the inside of the bowl that leaves residue behind.

    Schleich World of Fantasy: Bayala Review and Giveaway

    Bayala is the Fantasy World created by Schleich, the makers of the wonderfully detailed animal figurines sold in stores worldwide. Bayala is populated by elves and unicorns, and life there is deeply in tune with nature. Each figure has a charming backstory explaining what their role is in the Bayala world, and which part of nature they interact with most. For example, Nimsay is the protector of the flying horses, and Oleana loves flowers.

    Each figure is exquisitely detailed. Kaitlyn and I marveled at the details -the vines twining around a leg, the ribbon detail on clothing, the incredible range of colors on the wings.

    We received a sampling of both the Bayala elves, called the Iloris collection, and the unicorns, to review. To say that Kaitlyn loves these would be a vast understatement. Right away I could see the joy in her eyes at having such magical toys to play with. And while I’m normally cautious about giving her what seem like delicate figurines, these Bayala figures have proven to be quite sturdy.

    We received a total of six Bayala figures – Lindariel and her foal, Feya standing, Pegasus standing, and Marween on her horse (pictured above), plus a Unicorn rearing and Florindel with her kitty.

    Thanks to Schleich, I’m also giving away a prize pack of all six figures to one lucky MomReviews reader! How awesome is that!! Approximate retail value: $100.00.
