Salon Grafix Invisible Dry Spray Shampoo

Salon Grafix Invisible Dry Spray Shampoo is a new product that goes on clear and cleans and refreshes your hair with no powdery residue. Ever tried to de-grease your hair by sprinkling baby powder in it and brushing it out? Yeah, no matter how much you brushed, you probably had a spot of white in your hair all day.  I knew what Dry Shampoo was, had read about it in magazines as a “must” product, but had never bought it myself. Salon Grafix sent me a can of the Invisible Dry Spray Shampoo to try, and now I’m sold – it really works!

I don’t know how it works,  but it sprays out of the can like an aerosol hair spray, yet it vanishes immediately. I sprayed some on my hand, and it comes out liquid but then dries practically instantly without being at all sticky. The fragrance is nice, like a fresh hair spray scent, and the scent lasted in my hair for the rest of the day.  My favorite way to use it is on my bangs, which tend to look greasy and limp before the rest of my hair. It’s not a substitute for hair washing of course, but to freshen and de-grease? I give Salon Grafix Invisible Dry Spray Shampoo two big thumbs up! Check their website for retailer locations.

The Celebrity Styler and Ultimate Brush by Paris Hilton

I never in a million years thought I would own something with Paris Hilton’s name on it, I gotta be honest. But then I got an email about reviewing the Paris Hilton Celebrity Styler and the Paris Hilton Ultimate Brush, and since I’m constantly battling my hair I thought why not?

I also never thought I would use Paris Hilton’s name that many times in a sentence on one of my blogs, ever.

So anyway, both products arrived, and I have to say, I’m impressed. From what I read while poking around online, Miss Hilton herself had a hand in designing both of these, and her hairstylist uses them on her hair. Which usually looks pretty good.

The Celebrity Styler is a brush/flat iron/curling iron all in one.  What sets it apart is that the barrel rotates, so as you pull it through your hair, the brush is detangling, the heat is straightening, and the rotating barrel is smoothing. Run it straight down sections of hair to straighten, or flip pieces up or back to curl.  The instructions say it can be used on damp hair as well as dry. If you haven’t bought a new curling iron or flat iron in a while and want to try something new, the Celebrity Styler is $59.99 at Sally Beauty Supply stores or at the Sally Beauty Supply website.
