Things Remembered Mother’s Day Giveaway

For this giveaway, Things Remembered offered me my choice of items to review, and I chose this incredible Mother Water Globe which is also a music box! It says “Mother” inside, and then there’s a plaque to engrave a message or saying. I chose “There is no limit to the love a mother’s heart can hold.” Underneath is the winder for the music box, then on the outside is another engravable area. I told my kids we were going to pretend they had bought it for me – hope I didn’t ruin their gift idea! I chose:

    Mother’s Day Giveaway – $50 to ProFlowers.com

    For many people, the Mother’s Day holiday means sending flowers, and ProFlowers has absolutely amazing bouquets of Mother’s Day Flowers, as well as plants, bulbs, wreaths, and more. ProFlowers has a network of local florists ready to deliver fresh flowers right to your door (or Mom’s door)!

    I was thrilled when ProFlowers asked me to review an item from their site. I picked the  Deluxe All the Frills bouquet, which comes with 7 light pink roses, 5 dark pink roses, 4 pink alstroemeria, 3 green Anastasia mums, and 3 stems of ruscus. You can choose no vase or for an additional charge, have the flowers delivered with your choice of vase. I chose the beautiful Garden Green Glass vase, which sets off the flowers beautifully.

    My flowers arrived in a large rectangular box. Inside, I found the flowers carefully wrapped and secured, plus the vase, directions, and two packets of plant food. The only thing I had to do was cut an inch off the bottom of each stem and pour the first packet of plant food into the water before placing the flowers in the vase. The second packet of plant food went into a clean change of water after three days.

    I absolutely recommend you look at the ProFlowers site if you are thinking about sending your Mom flowers for Mother’s Day. I was very impressed with how fresh and well packaged my bouquet was. Even though the roses are starting to droop, I still have the vase where I can see it because the flowers are so pretty!

Wubbzy!” has been a hit with young viewers and their families since its 2006 TV premiere on Nickelodeon®, and the show currently airs daily on Nick Jr. Wubbzy is a fun, lovable, curious little guy who just likes to play, play, play with his friends in the eye-popping town of Wuzzleburg . The top-rated series supports preschool social skills – sharing, listening, compromising, helping and appreciating others, self-awareness and the use of humor as a coping skill.

    Kaitlyn and I have enjoyed watching this DVD together, I’ll admit I think it’s pretty cute. Even if the theme song does get totally stuck in my head :)   Each episode is only 11 minutes long, which is great for when she asks for TV before bed.  The whole DVD is an hour long.  At just $9.99, you could even get this DVD as a surprise for an Easter basket!
