Superior Promos For Branded Products

The opportunities to spread the word about your business or website with Promotional Items are endless thanks to Superior Promos! They have pretty much anything you would ever want to brand, from clothing to coffee mugs, tote bags to pens. They asked me to take a look at their website and I have to say, I’m impressed with the level of customer service I’m reading about on their testimonials page.

But first, a little about branding. If you own a business, either a brick-and-mortar store or an online business of any kind (including your blog!), there are so many ways you can get people to see your URL.  Think about summer, which is coming up soon. You’re at the playground with your kids. You could have the URL for your blog on your tote bag, t-shirt, water bottles, or on a stash of pens in your purse.  While you are sitting on the benches watching your kids play, the person sitting next to you is noticing your promotional product and might just become your newest site visitor!

The testimonials page on the site mentions the excellent customer service that customers received. What you do is either place your order on the website or by calling customer service. The art department contacts you in 24-48 hours to let you know a proof of your order is ready on the site. You log in to approve your design. If it isn’t exactly right, call customer service and they will work with you until your order is exactly what you want!

Approve your order and it moves to production. Within another 24-48 hours you’ll have an estimated ship date for your order. Once it ships you’ll be emailed full tracking information, cost of shipping, and whether your order is less or more than estimated.  It seems like Superior Promos really wants their customers to be happy from beginning to end!  Check out the site for yourself and see if there’s something you can use to advertise your business.

Win the Book “Alienated” – Five Winners!

Do you have a “reluctant reader” between the ages of 8-12? My son Nathan used to fit that description, but I persisted, showing him title after title in the “Youth Fiction” section of the library and at bookstores, until we found books he enjoyed. When I got the email asking if I was interested in reviewing Alienated, from Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing, I had a feeling it was the kind of book Nathan would like – and I was right!

AlienatedSynopsis: Best friends Gene Brennick and Vince Haskell come across freaky aliens like Mold Man, Calamari Girl, and Crumble Bun all the time as reporters for their homemade weekly tabloid, the Globe, a newsletter featuring stories on the aliens living quietly among humans in Santa Rosa, California.

Gene and Vince’s classmates don’t take their articles too seriously — no one does, really. Gene’s determined to find a way to end his outsider status for good, and when he and Vince discover a local teacher’s deep, dark secret, Gene’s convinced he’s found the answer. But after taking it one step too far, Gene and Vince are suddenly at the center of an intergalactic conflict, one that could be the death of the boys’ friendship, or of the boys themselves — whichever comes first.

Acclaimed screenwriter and director David O. Russell teams up for his first novel with Andrew Auseon to deliver a hilarious, surprising adventure that will keep readers glued to every page.

Our Review: This is one of those “suspend your disbelief” type of stories. The reader just has to accept that there are, in fact, aliens living right among us, and that Gene and Vince encounter them all the time. Alienated rolls right along at a good pace, with plenty of dialogue and intrigue, even a tiny bit of first romance. I had no problem getting Nathan to finish the book, which he pronounced “good”. High praise from him!
